Our Story

Founded by Dr. Mark Yezak D.C. and Dr. Scott Neuberger D.C. in 1996, Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers is a multidisciplinary clinic providing comprehensive care with 2 locations in downtown Houston and The Woodlands, TX— from chiropractic adjustments and spinal decompression to pain management, physical therapy, and holistic rehabilitation services. Their approach focuses on precise diagnosis and personalized treatment plans designed to get to the source of pain, rather than merely addressing symptoms.

Over the years at Houston Spine & Rehab, Dr. Yezak encountered countless patients whose recovery and daily comfort were impacted by poor sleep quality and pillow-related discomfort. Many patients reported waking with neck stiffness, shoulder pain, and worsening spinal tension — especially those recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic back and neck pain. These recurring sleep issues were more than a nighttime nuisance — they were a barrier to healing and overall wellbeing.

Driven by his deep clinical insight and commitment to holistic care, Dr. Yezak began exploring ways to improve sleep posture and spinal alignment outside the clinic. He recognized that even the most effective daytime therapies can be undermined if the body is unsupported at night. Drawing on decades of patient feedback, ergonomic principles, and his extensive experience in spinal health, he began designing what would eventually become the Angel Pillow — a pillow engineered to support the neck and spine, reduce pressure points, and enhance restorative sleep.

Angel Pillow is thus born out of a Dr. Yezak's dedication to real patients — a product shaped by firsthand exposure to the everyday struggles people face with sleep discomfort, chronic pain, and the ripple effects poor rest can have on healing. It’s not just a pillow — it’s the culmination of years of clinical observation, patient stories, and a desire to extend healing beyond the treatment room
